【本作】8月28日にアメリカで公開予定の映画 “We Are Your Friends”に併せてリリースされるサウンドトラック。

【映画】主演はZac Efron、Wes Bentley、Emily Ratajkowski等、内容はEDMシーンで有名なDJ/プロデューサーになろうともがく若者たちを描いたもの。Korrina Rico、Nicky Romero、Dillon Francis、Alesso、Them Jeans等が人気DJたちが実名で出演している。
