故George Harrison、生誕75周年記念トリビュート・コンサート作品より「I Need You」、「While My Guitar Gently Weeps」映像公開

2001年に他界したTHE BEATLESのGeorge Harrison。
今年2月25日に迎える彼の生誕75周年を記念し、2002年にRoyal Albert Hallで行われた伝説のオールスター・トリビュート・コンサート『Concert For George』が、初ヴァイナル化を含む4形態で2月23日にリリースされ、2曲の映像が公開となった。

1曲は、THE BEATLESのアルバム『Help!』に収録されている、George Harrisonが作曲しリード・ヴォーカルを務めた"I Need You"をTom Petty & The Heartbreakersが演奏する映像。
もう1曲は、2枚組アルバム『The Beatles』に収録されたGeorge Harrisonが作曲、ギター・ソロをEric Claptonが弾いたことでも有名な"While My Guitar Gently Weeps"を、Eric Clapton、Paul McCartney、Ringo Starr、Dhani Harrisonほかが演奏する映像となっている。
