カール・リヒター歿後40周年に衝撃の初出ライヴ音源!!
ディスコグラフィにないハイドンの「天地創造」をリリース!
1972年5月8日、ミュンヘンにおけるライヴがついに日の目を見る!!

これは衝撃のリリース!2021年に歿後40周年を迎えたカール・リヒターが振ったハイドンの「天地創造」がリリースされます!1981年2月15日に急逝したリヒター。そのため彼のレパートリーの中でも重要であった「天地創造」のスタジオ録音は実現することができませんでした。
当録音は1972年5月、ミュンヘン国立歌劇場におけるライヴを収録したもので、バイエルン国立歌劇場のアーカイヴに奇跡的に保管されていました。ヘンスラー・レーベルはこの音源をCD化するために何度も交渉を重ね、ついに日の目を見ることとなりました。
記録音源のため音質は最良とは言えないものの、ステレオで収録されていたことにより"リヒター・サウンド"を充分に堪能できる貴重な音源であることは言うまでもありません。この音源をヘンスラー・レーベルが非常に丁寧なリマスタリングを施したことにより、カール・リヒターの豊かな感性に富んだ「天地創造」をご堪能いただけます。これは、資料的価値という観点だけでなく、リヒターの新音源を今聴くことができるのは至福の喜びと言えましょう。

「天地創造」
ハイドンがイギリス訪問に「メサイア」をはじめとするヘンデルの大作におおいに触発され着想したハイドンの最高傑作といわれるオラトリオ。旧約聖書の「創世記」と「詩篇」、ミルトンの「失楽園」をテキストの題材として、神による創造の第1日から第4日まで、生き物が出現する第5日と第6日、そしてアダムとイヴの登場と、創世の七日間を時系列に沿って部構成で描いている。
