On their second release of 2020, K-pop boy band Tomorrow X Together delivered their third overall EP, Minisode1: Blue Hour. Dipping into multiple genres, they go retro-disco with Blue Hour and come close to a pop-punk anthem with Wishlist, before closing the show with the R&B sheen of Way Home. They also recruit an international team of songwriting talent, including Lennon Stella for the guitar-kissed new wave revival Ghosting and Charli XCX on the tropical bliss of We Lost the Summer. Clocking in at just over 15 minutes, Minisode1 may be over all too soon, but its a quick burst of fun to sate fans until the next release. ~ Neil Z. Yeung
