Disc 1 was digitally recorded live at Studio 54, New York, 1980. This two-disc James Brown concert collection presents the Godfather of Soul performing live in 1980 and '84. Tracks include "Sex Machine," "Get on the Good Foot," and "Get Up Offa That Thing." This double CD live album captures the incandescent soul artist James Brown in the early 1980s performing at two prestigious venues--the first a 1980 show at New York's famed Studio 54, and the second a 1984 gig at Chastain Park in Atlanta, in Brown's home state of Georgia. The Godfather of Soul is on typical high energy form in performances that include favorites from throughout his career, such as "Papa's Got a Brand New Bag," "Cold Sweat," "Sex Machine," and "It's a Man's, Man's, Man's World."
