Willie Nelson（ウィリー・ネルソン）｜1984年に行われた伝説の武道館公演の模様を収めた『Live At Budokan』が2CD+DVDで待望の発売

1984年、ウィリー・ネルソンは人気の絶頂期にあった。過去10年間で16曲のカントリー・ ナンバー1ヒットを記録し、ポップ・チャートにも何度も登場。一連のヒット映画に出演し、当時最も有名なアーティストの1人となった。彼はジャンルや世代を超えてファンを結びつけ、彼のライヴ・ショーは伝説的なものとなった。

このたび、1984年に全5都市で行われたウィリー・ネルソンの初来日公演より、公演初日となる2月23日の日本武道館公演の模様を収録したライヴ・アルバム『Live At Budokan』が発売！2月23日の武道館のショーは放送用に録音および撮影され、日本ではレーザーディスクとしてのみリリースされたが、音源としては一切発売されていなかかった。

音源は、ウィリーの長年のバンドメンバーであるミッキー ・ラファエルによって愛情を込めてリミックスされており、2枚組CDに29曲を収録。また、新しいオーディオミックスと高解像度に復元された映像を含む27曲入りのDVDも付属。

アルバムには「Whiskey River」「Always On My Mind」「On the Road Again」「Mammas, Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys」といった彼の代表曲に加え、「Me and Bobby McGee」「Georgia On My Mind」「Stardust」などのすばらしいカバー曲も収録されている。

アナログ盤はBLACK FRIDAY対象商品として発売される。
