キング・オブ・スライドギター!エルモア・ジェイムスが、晩年かつ全盛期の1959年～1963年にNYの伝説のプロデューサー、ボビー・ロビンソンのレーベル、ファイヤー&エンジョイに録音した音源を全て網羅したリマスター盤。

さらに、サム・マイヤーズやマーシャル・ジョーンズ(ホームシック・ジェームスと思われる)名義でリリースされたエルモア参加音源もボーナス収録。

エルモア関連で数々のコンピレーションがリリースされたが、現在入手困難な物がほとんど。今更ながら絶対に聴いておくべき3枚組決定盤。
