高い評価を得ているロック・グループ、EELSが、新しいコンピレーション・アルバム『Eels So Good: Essential Eels Vol. 2 (2007-2020)』をE Works/[PIAS]からリリースする。アルバムには、7枚のスタジオ・アルバムからの楽曲や、その他の楽曲を収録。その中には、「Fresh Blood」や「That Look You Gave That Guy」等のヒット曲や、2020年のアルバム『Earth To Dora』からの楽曲、そして3曲の未発表曲や、5曲の初ヴァイナル化の楽曲(映画『Shrek The Third』からの「RoyalPain」や、映画『Yes Man』の公式サウンドトラックからの「Man Up」等)が含まれる。また、アルバムでは、クリスマスの新曲「Christmas, Why You Gotta Do Me LikeThis」もフィーチャー。この曲は、EELSの伝統的なひねりを効かせたオルタナティヴなクリスマス・バラードで、バンドのこれまでのクリスマス・ソング「Everything's Gonna Be Cool This Christmas」と「Christmas is Going to the Dogs」に続くものとなる。
